TNPL, a well known Paper Manufacturing Company is looking for the following personnel in its Mills :
- Plant Engineer (Safety) : 01 post
Pay Scale: 16000-400-20000 Total: 64,300/-
Qualification: A recognized Degree in any branch of Engineering or Technology.
(or)
Post Graduate Degree in Physics or Chemistry
and
M.E. (Industrial Safety) or Diploma in Industrial Safety recognized by
Government of Tamil Nadu.
Experience: Should have minimum 5 years of post qualification experience as on
01/05/2015 after acquiring Degree in Engineering or Post Graduate
Degree in Physics or Chemistry of which atleast 2 years after acquiring
Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in Industrial Safety.
Should have been in a responsible position in Safety Department of any
industrial establishment or large scale construction company.
Should have experience in dealing with accident prevention, training of
employees in Safety awareness and emergency preparedness, enforcing
personal safety at work place, electrical installation, construction
activities etc. Candidates should be conversant with safety practices in
storage and handling of hazardous chemicals, compliance of statutory
requirements stipulated in Factories Act and Factories Rules,
explosives rules and gas cylinder rules, maintenance of records as per
statutory requirements, accident reporting and analysis, liaison with
Factory Inspectorate and other Statutory Authorities.
Knowledge of Tamil is essential.
