Qualification: Recognised degree in any branch of engineering with Degree or Diploma in Industrial Safety with adequate knowledge of Oriya language.
Experience Profile : 5-7 years of post qualification experience in occupational health and safety. Responsible for internal communication and co-ordination related to health & safety, renewal of license/consents under Factory Act and other applicable acts, safety awareness campaigns and training, coordinating for investigation of accidents/ incidents/near misses and co-ordination for corrective and preventive actions, responsible for compliance to emergency preparedness procedures, overall co-ordination for compliance to statutory requirements related to Occupational Health and Safety and liason with statutory authorities. To carry out site safety inspections in order to observe the physical conditions of work and the work practices and procedure followed by employees and to assist line managers in taking measures to remove the unsafe physical conditions and unsafe actions.
