 Job Description:
Fire Division Related Jobs:
 F&S Shift In-Charge handling shift duties independently and leading the fire crew in shifts.  Participating and leading the fire crew in handling emergencies as per Emergency Response & Disaster management Plan (ERDMP)  Ensuring upkeep of fire vehicles, fire protection systems, fire & safety equipment by periodically checking /testing of the same and maintaining records of each equipment/system.  Conducting spot training at various sites in refinery on fire and safety equipment and systems.  Conducting and participating in Mock drills and various fire drills for fire crew in shifts etc. and preparing report  Periodic checking of fire extinguishers, safety showers, PPE boxes, windsocks in plants, fire alarm and gas detection systems in buildings, plants, other refinery areas  Periodic inspection of all plants and offsite areas for identifying fire and safety related issues and Maintain records of all inspections, testing’s, history cards of fire vehicles, fire extinguishers etc.  Leading and participating in Mutual Aid Emergencies in other industries as per message received from civil authorities, industry members.  Scheduling and Conducting live firefighting and safety training to refinery and contractor employees  Surprise checks on road safety issues, work permits

Safety Division Related Jobs:  Carrying out safety inspections and Job safety analysis and releasing report  Monitoring and ensuring safety compliance in various jobs being executed in refinery.  Checking and corrections of safety violations in work permits being issued for various kind of jobs in refinery  Checking and certification of scaffoldings and tagging of contractor equipment as per requirement  Conducting safety induction training for refinery, contractor, visitors, apprentices etc. as required  Handling portable gas detectors for checking gas presence in plants, other areas as required.  Advise other departments on Fire & Safety issues  Planning & conducting Safety Promotional Activities. SELECTION PROCEDURE
Stage-1 Preliminary (Screening) Test: The applicants who fulfill the above requirements will be called for Stage-1 Preliminary (Screening) Test consisting of 50 Multiple choice Questions (Choice of four answers) (Mathematics – 20 Questions, Science – 20 Questions and General Awareness – 10 Questions) for one (01) hour duration. Note: (1) Candidates will be awarded 03 Marks for each correct answer and 01 Mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer. (2) Test may be conducted in single/multiple sessions. (3) For the posts reserved for SC/ST/OBC, Candidates scoring less than (<) 30% marks in Stage-1 will be screened-out and for the posts which are un-reserved, Candidates scoring less than (<) 40% marks in Stage-1 will be screened-out.


Stage-2 Advance Test: All candidates screened in Stage-I will be allowed to undertake an advance test in their respective posts. • The test will comprise 50 Multi Choice Questions (Choice of four answers). ‘3’ Marks will be awarded for each correct answer and ‘1’ mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer. Test will be of two (02) hours duration. • A merit list will be prepared of candidates after Stage-2 based upon Scores obtained in Stage-2 only. Candidates applying against Un-reserved posts & posts reserved for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) should have minimum 60% aggregate marks in the minimum essential educational qualification. Candidates applying against posts reserved for Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST) and posts reserved/identified suitable for Persons with Disability (PWD) category should have minimum 50% aggregate marks subject to pass in the minimum essential educational qualification. b) For the posts of Executive (Finance)/Executive(Internal Audit) Candidates having CA/ICWA qualifications, belonging to all categories (UR/SC/ST/OBC/PWD) need to have pass marks only. Candidates having MBA with specialization in Finance applying against Un-reserved posts & posts reserved for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) should have minimum 60% aggregate marks, those applying against posts reserved for Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST) and posts reserved/identified suitable for Persons with Disability (PWD) category should have minimum 50% aggregate marks subject to pass in the minimum essential educational qualification. c) All qualification must be from UGC recognized Indian University / UGC recognized Indian Deemed University or AICTE approved Autonomous Indian Institution / Concerned Statutory Council (wherever applicable)/Board of Technical Education d) Minimum aggregate percentage of marks in the essential qualification as indicated above shall be aggregate of all semesters to be calculated taking average of all semesters/years, irrespective of the weightage to any particular semester/year by the Institute/University. Aggregate percentage of marks shall not be rounded off (for example 59.99 % not be rounded off as 60 %). e) In case CGPA/OGPA/Grade is awarded by university, the equivalent percentage shall be derived based on the formula provided by the University for converting the grade to percentage. If no formula is prescribed by the University, the equivalence in percentage of marks will be established by multiplying the CGPA/OGPA/Grade by a factor of 10 subject to the condition that the candidate has to submit documentary proof that the University does not have any formula for conversion of CGPA/OGPA/Grade to percentage. Relaxation in percentage of marks in the minimum essential qualification for SC/ST category is applicable only to the posts reserved for SC/ST as the case may be. PWD category will get relaxation in percentage of marks for posts reserved/identified suitable for Persons with Disability (PWD) category. f) Wherever MBA has been mentioned as requirement, apart from MBA, Two Years Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in Management with specialization in relevant field will also be considered. g) In MBA / PG Diploma in Management / MMS etc. qualifications where there is a mention of Dual Specialization, one of the specializations necessarily needs to be function specific for which the post has been advertised. III SCALE OF PAY, PROBATION AND EMOLUMENTS Candidates selected shall be placed on probation as per Company Rules in A grade in the scale of pay of Rs 60,000-1,80,000. In addition DA (on IDA pattern), HRA/Township Accommodation, Perks & Allowances under cafeteria approach and other allowances as per company rules will be admissible.
