Eligibility Criteria for Safety Manager

Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess either of the following:

Option 1

  • B.E./B.Tech in Aeronautical / Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Avionics

  • Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience

  • At least 2 years in the aviation industry

OR

Option 2

  • AME Diploma with BAMEL

  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience

  • Including aviation maintenance, airworthiness management, or safety surveillance

Experience & Salary Requirement

  • Candidates from private/public sector must have CTC of ₹9.90 Lakhs per annum (excluding PF & Gratuity) in each of the preceding two years

Additional Preferences

  • Training in Human Factors Principles

  • Training in Safety Management System (SMS)

  • Knowledge of DGCA regulations

  • The post requires DGCA Form-4 approval

Age Limit

  • Maximum Age: 40 years

  • Age relaxation applicable as per Government of India norms

Reservation & Age Relaxation

Reservation and relaxation are applicable for:

  • SC/ST: 5 years

  • OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years

  • PwBD: Minimum 40% permanent disability

  • Ex-Servicemen: As per GoI rules

  • EWS: Valid certificate required
